- New U-22 Players: Hindu reports that Tamil Nadu off-spinner R. Ashwin and Opening batsman S. Anirudha have been contracted to represent the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). [Anirudha is the son of K Srikkanth, Ambassador of Chennai Super Kings]. With the addition of these two players, the Chennai Super Kings has already fulfilled the condition of having a minimum of four under 22 players in the team. [Other two - Suresh Raina and Sudeep Tyagi].
- Coach of Chennai Super Kings: Hindu also reports that Kepler Wessels, the former South African captain, has been hired to coach the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
- Chennai Super Kings IPO in 2 years: Financial Express reports that India Cements Limited (ICL) which won the bid of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchisee for Chennai, is planning to list ‘Chennai Super Kings’ in the next two years.

Yeah.. That also can mean India Cements does not have the necessary financial muscle to take the team forward for a few more years.. Since i believe they could get better valuations after a few more years (with a solid fan base and a proven business model) rather than in the next 2 years with an untested business model... :)
