How Do I buy tickets online for champions league...I am a CSK fan and I have an account there...I dont know How to become a paid member...Please help!!
First things first...Throw the players who call India as a Third world country away..It needs no special pointing towards somebody. Dead on Matthew Hayden, if you have him in the team...Throw him out of your team. We will be left in dilemna if we support your team..Are we supporting a team who has players with no respect to the country which pays them or do we need to only enjoy the game...We are group of about 200 friends (with numbers growing) to boycott the games played by Chennai super kings...
I know it makes no difference to the Super kings, but atleast we will not feel guilty of supporting a team with a professional who calls India a third world country...I am Indian first and then a fan of some team
It is good that a fansite has been opened. To mend peoples (Matthew Hayden's) way of addressing (Third world) Countries, bloggers here should press hard to get Matthew Hayden thrown out of the team...Be very sure, we are not against Chennai Super kings...Let the professionals of the likes of Matt Hayden know that Cricket Australia can nowhere in his dreams match the "FEES" he gets from IPL and yet want to address India as a Third world..Absolutely not!!!!!!!!
@ sweetheater,
tickets would be soon available online for champions league.. Once they are available, i will let you know in this blog.. So do subscribe to this blog by email or RSS..
@ vnangli,
I have already written my views on Hayden using the term "Third World country" - http://chennaisuperkings.blogspot.com/2008/11/hayden-in-midst-of-storm.html
Summary of what i said there.. Hayden never called India a third world country.. He was merely talking about irritants inside the field...
Robin,
I feel pain to see you defending Hayden. Yeh... you may be big fan of that 'filthy mouth', but be indian first.
@ Ravikiran,
First things first.. I respect Hayden as a Chennai Super Kings player.. But I am not a fan.. What my request to all CSK fans is please do not misinterpret what Hayden said without reading his interview.. What has happened is that people have read some idiotic news paper taking the comments out of proportion. So do read his whole interview first hand.. Also I am a human being first and then only I am an Indian..
About Mathew Hayden...Read the whole interview...he did not mean it...its just media hype!!
