Except for Smith's counterattack, everything went according to the script for Chennai Super Kings. Hayden provided his trademark cameo. Vijay hold forte until 10th over. Raina and Dhoni provided the much needed acceleration at the end. Then Morkel & Tyagi provided those early wickets. And the spinners finished the Deccan Resistance. Except for a small cameo of Smith in the middle overs, Chennai Super Kings acted out a perfect Script.
Positives:
- Vijay, the Solid Batsman: Today's innings clearly showed that Vijay has understood his role in the batting order and is ready to play by the script
- Morkel, the Bowling Sensation: Great Bowling from Him! Hope he keeps on bowling like this.
- Murali, the Real Star Bowler: Though Jakati might have taken more wickets, he was the better bowler and it was his efforts that led to wickets on the other side.
- Dhoni, the cool batsman: Dhoni finally got into some runs
- Jakati, the find of the season: Follows up with another good performance. Hope he keeps on performing like this.
Negatives:
- Pathetic Fielding: I lost count of the dropped catches and the missed runout chances. Hope the team cleans up its fielding; Otherwise the team's fielding might be the key reason for their defeat this year.
- Oram not getting an opportunity: Jacob Oram deserves a chance to bat and bowl for the team. A Class player, he deserves to be allowed to play a part in the team's win.
MY MAN OF THE MATCH: Hayden - It is his performance that set up the win. It is his performance that changed a bowler friendly pitch to a batsman friendly pitch. Go! Haydos! Go!
Team now gets two Days of rest and will get a chance to continue the winning momentum against Kings XI Punjab.

i think becoz deccan chargers have got 3 ducks on their score board, chennai fielders was a bit cool on the field. becoz they know its really really hard to score 180 from two batsman.(smith and rohit sharma).
and if u saw jakathi reaction, it seems he was really tensed to take that run out.. it shows in his face.. i thought i would be nice if badri taken the ball to stumps instead of throwing it to bowler.. becoz batsman is not really interested in coming back..
but the fileding is poor, and this is not the actual csk fielding.. thats for sure..
and batting,,,, haydos proved again.. vijay is solid... raina rocked, dhoni banged.. overall its a nice win..

Dominant position is not an excuse for misfields. Yeah.. I agree that CSK is not doing their best w.r.t fielding.. That is why it is a negative.. I am sure the fielding would come good when really needed
