Chennai Super Kings Vs Kolkata Knight Riders - Match Preview

After being comprehensively defeated by Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings play against the in-form  team Kolkata Knight Riders tomorrow. Every team's punch bags in the last season have made a turn-around this year. They are the table toppers now. With the addition of Gayle, David Hussey & McNullum soon, the team will become much more stronger. So happy that Chennai Super Kings have their match at Eden Gardens before their star players joined the team.

CSK Probable XI:

1. Hayden 2. Vijay 3. Raina 4. Dhoni 5. Badrinath 6. Kemp 7. Albie Morkel 8. Jakati 9. Balaji 10. Tyagi 11. Murali

KKR Probable XI:
1. BJ Hodge 2. MK Tiwary 3. SC Ganguly 4. CA Pujara 5. OA Shah 6. RS Gavaskar 7. AD Mathews 8. WP Saha 9. M Kartik 10. CK Langeveldt 11. I Sharma

Most Dangerous Players
1. Mathews: He won the first match with his batting and won the second match with his bowling. Hope he does not repeat his performance with bat or ball.

Favorites: Though Kolkata Knight Riders are the in-form team, Chennai Super Kings are a stronger team on paper. So my bets are with Chennai Super Kings.

Which team your bets are on?

Jakati for Ashwin is the only change in your team for tomorrow??! ashwin was only the best performer with the ball last week! Id think Gony might replace tyagi and maybe, just maybe, parthiv for vijay.

High time CSK realises that they need to have better bowlers than what they chose for the DC game. Kemp is no longer the force he was and should be replaced by Thilan Thushara who is a much better bowler and a decent bat. Ganapathy should be given a chance in place of Balaji. Vijay can be tried for one more game but gut feel is he is a misfit for T20. So my choice for the XI will be Hayden, Vijay or parthiv, Raina,Dhoni, Badri, Ganapathy,Morkel, Thilan thushara, Muralidharan,Ashwin,Gony.

1. Hayden

3. Badrinath
4. Raina
5. Dhoni
6. Kemp
7. Albie Morkel
8. Jakati
9. Balaji
10. Tyagi
11. Ntini

this would be my batting order and team.. take out murali and put Ntini..
but having been seen dhoni in the previous seasons, i dont think he will change the team becoz of one loss.

CSK team selection was ofcourse good but without the fire power and sensibleness. Vijay and raina got out playing rash shots and badri too. But these players have immense talent and to believe that they are going to win the match by themselves. For the match against KKR perara can replace kemp or murali jakati can replace tyagi. The team should be
Hayden, Vijay, Raina, Badri, Dhoni, Morkel, Kemp/perara, Murali/Jakati, ashwin, balaji and Gony

@ Anonymous,

That was a mistake. I expect Ashwin would play this match.
