First! Congrats to Chennai Super Kings on pulling the game back after Finch's blitzkrieg. That alone should give the team enough confidence to keep on fighting - until the final ball is bowled. But I still can't believe Dhoni gave the super over to Ashwin. Hope the coaching team and Dhoni learn from this mistake.
Positives:
1. Tight Finish: I am sure the experience of playing in a tight game would come handy when the team qualifies for semifinals.
2. Hussey IN: Good decision by the team. Hope they continue with Hussey opening for CSK.
3. Vijay: Another good performance by him. Ensuring that the team has to think hard between retaining him and Bollinger.
4. Murali: Wonderful effort by Wizard to bring his team into the game after the initial blitzkrieg.
Negatives:
1. Ashwin: Ashwin's Powerplay magic has come to an end. Hope his confidence is not affected by this super over.
2. Balaji: Another poor bowling effort. Time for him to get his act together and raise his performance.

I don't think Balaji bowled very badly, in comparison. His first over went for 17 but three of the 4 fours were genuine edges. I am not a big supporter of Balaji but today, he was not entirely at fault.
I was stunned by Dhoni giving the ball to Ashwin though. First, Ashwin does not have the experience. Second, he had been clobbered earlier. Dougie or even Raina would have been my choices. We missed a couple of run outs in the last over. It shouldn't have come to the super over at all.
Lastly our batsmen couldn't come to terms with their slower balls. This was astounding to me.
We should have won that match and placed comfortably in the points tally. But every time in a crunch mustwin situation we are making into semis hope this time also we will. Last over ofcourse raina gamble worked out but he missed the costly simple runout which made the thing worse and the match tied and dhoni as always thinks otherwise and added pressure to us. I think Dougie would have been the better choice but whatever happened is happend let us look forward to the final game against warriors. Vijay's brilliant knock was not supported by others ans we fel 20 runs short. Ther is no alternative for balaji we have to try him the other day.
