A Few update on CSK's foreign players:
1. Bollinger & Hussey to join by today: As per the tweet from IPL CEO Sundar raman, Hussey & Bollinger should have either joined the team yesterday or joining them today. [I expect Hussey to have reached Chennai yesterday(Thursday) and Bollinger to reach Chennai today (Friday)]. So there is a high probability that we will see our beloved 'rug' & Mr. Cricket on Saturday.
2. Bravo to join the team after May 5: West Indies Board has allowed Bravo to skip the test matches against Pakistan. So Dwayne Bravo would be joining the CSK team in the latter half of the campaign. Expect him to be named in the squad for May 9th match against Rajasthan Royals. (CSK Fixtures)
3. Kulasekara & Randiv to depart on May 5: Srilankan Board has asked Srilankan players to report by May 5 at Colombo. So Kulasekara & Randiv would be available only until May 4th game against Rajasthan Royals.

Good news for CSK..
Hope we have the following team for Saturday..
Vijay
Hussey
Raina
Badrinath
Dhoni
Morkel
Anirudha
Ashwin
Jakati
Bollinger
Southee
jakati needs to be replaced and a good bowler/all rounder from indian side like vignesh must be tried
Jakati should play, the problem is he is bowling too much short deliveries nd is asking for trouble
Albie Morkel must be dropped and be replaced with someone like Faf Du Plesis.
Albie was very expensive in last game and his fielding was not upto the mark. He has put on a lot of weight and is not as good as how he used to be!
ya albie was not good in fieldin the last match against Kings eleven and also his bowling. To be frank even ashain and jakati dint bowl well on that day that was the reason for the defeat and our poor fielding. Ofcoursr\e our batting was superb with vijay badri and dhoni getting into the act. My team for the next match would be
Vijay
Anirudha
Raina
Badri
Dhoni
Stryris
Ashwin
Randiv
Bollinger
Southee
Jakati
Well I see that people have started throwing stones on Albie. Yeah.. he had a bad day. But we got to remember that it was because of his crusual 10 runs that CSK won KKR. And added to it I am 100% sure that Dhoni will feel Albie as his left hand (right hand in Raina). So I dont see that he will ever get replaced.
In my opinion he is the best all rounder that we have. Now Bollinger and Hussey coming in, I feel that probably its Styris and Tim Southee making there way.
So as per my prediction CSK team if Bollinger plays will be,
1. Hussey
2. Vijay
3. Raina
4. Badri
5. Dhoni
6. Morkel
7. (Normally Anirudha was the default choice)
8. Ashwin
9. Suraj Randiv
10. Jakathi
11.Bollinger
So I really see the only optional slot is 7. But I could highly recommend G.Vignesh (hitter + bowler) to take that position instead of Anirudha. Only if try out few options the team could become stronger.
Let us see what Dhoni does against a formidable team namely RCB.
@Siddharth,
Agree that Jakati should play. He is not a world class bowler but he will surely contribute towards winning in a few matches. Agree that sometimes he pitches balls short.
@Anon,
Albie is actually coming after a fine domestic season. He was the player of the tournament in the recent South African Domestic T20 tournamen.t It generally takes some time for Albie to get used to change of conditions. Once he gets used, expect him to be phenomenal.
@Senthil,
Vignesh is a bit of high risk - high reward at No:7. Anirudha deserves that spot especially considering that he is a lucky player.
The playing 11 should be:
1. Vijay
2. Hussey
3. Raina
4. Badri
5. Dhoni
6. Aniruddha
7. G.Vignesh
8. Ashwin
9. Randiv
10. Tim Southee
11. Bollinger
